Club Racing was founded in 1994 by Peter Steveney, following a highly successful 20 year career with the Jockey Club.  In his last seven years with the Jockey Club, as Senior Stewards' Secretary, he undertook a high profile role in the maintenance of the integrity of British Racing and in the training of local Stewards throughout the country.  During this time he enjoyed close contact with many of racing's leading personalities.

Club Racing has since been developed into a specialist racing promotion company, one of whose core activities is the provision of day leases of racehorses to meet the demand from clients who wish to go racing on a given day - particularly true in the case of the corporate client who has to plan his or her day's racing, and guest list, well in advance - and enjoy the added involvement that ownership of a racehorse running at the meeting can bring to their guests' day out.

Club Racing has produced runners on request at the following race meetings:  The Martell Grand National, The Vodafone Derby, Royal Ascot, The Cheltenham Festival, Newmarket Guineas, York May, Goodwood August, Doncaster St Leger and The Kempton Christmas Festival.
